January 8th I was proud to join my colleagues as Governor Healey signed two important bills into law: S.3012 An Act relative to pharmaceutical access, costs, and transparency, and H.5159 An Act enhancing the market review process. These laws focus on lowering the cost of healthcare, capping prescription drug costs, and increasing oversight of private healthcare providers.

January 10th I had the honor of participating in the JROTC Career Day at Lowell High School. It was amazing to connect with nearly 200 students in the program and share my journey—from my time as an LHS student and former JROTC cadet to where I am today. I also offered a few pieces of career advice and enjoyed revisiting my old classroom and reconnecting with the instructors who had such a big impact on me.
A huge thank-you to Dr. Tahina Montoya, Senior Advisor for Public Engagement at the White House, for organizing such a meaningful event! |
